Condolence From: Judith Meckling
Condolence: Steveanna loved her family as fiercely as she loved SHARE. She was so happy to be living close to her son and grandchildren! We send you love and blessing in your time of loss. The Rev. Judith Meckling and Jo Ann Fricker

Condolence From: Patrick Druhan
Condolence: Steveanna was a "people person." I think that is what she enjoyed most about working at Share. Helping the least fortunate was important, but her daily interaction with those she loved was a driving force in her life. She would get to know you in a hurry. Many people have told me how they would meet her once and some months later have her inquire about their life with facts they didn't know they had given out. If she liked you, she took an interest and it was sincere. Steveanna often joked about her evil twin, but it wasn't really. It was just another aspect of how intensely she interacted with people. While I have missed her, I am glad she was able to spend her last years with family. That is as it should be.

Condolence From: Deborah Lynn
Condolence: I remember meeting her for the first time and thinking “this is the kind of woman I aspire to be”. Kind, caring, funny as hell and feisty. I loved how she was always brutally honest. She will be missed but certainly never forgotten. Thanks Steveanna for your advice and kind words of support for me~~Deb Mest

Condolence From: Rachel Schneider
Condolence: I remember meeting Steveanna for the first time in Harrisburg. I thought to myself, “what a sweet, generous, kind woman.” Then I saw her get to work - and I saw the other incredible, feisty, unapologetic tell it like it is side of her. Both sides were equally amazing and made her the uniquely special person everyone will remember. I learned so much from her and feel grateful to have had the opportunity to call her a colleague. I will never forget you.

Condolence: I will always remember Steveanna as a great friend. Her concern for people was never hidden. She was passionate for helping those who need help and a strong leader not only for those at Share but for all those who had the privilege to work with her. She would always take time to see how me, and my family were doing. She also had a way of leading with out a word…if you were ever on the other end of that “look” you know what I mean. I can always here her laugh and see her smile. I am going to miss you Darlin’…knowing you was a hoot.

Condolence From: Joe Arthur
Condolence: I will always think of Steveanna as a momma bear that made sure that none of her thousands and thousands of cubs went hungry or were disrespected. She was a force of humanity and an unequaled fighter for food justice, a farm girl and a city girl all in one strong woman. Bless you, Dear, and look down on your work in peace. from Joe Arthur, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank

Condolence From: Ann B. McManus
Condolence: Steveanna was always there to offer advice and comfort. She will be missed SO VERY MUCH by friends and colleagues (who were often the same). Her experience, her wisdom. A generation of food bankers grew and grew up with her. Rest in Power, dear friend. You had a good run! Fondly, Ann McManus

Condolence From: Sheila Christopher
Condolence: Steveanna Wynn was the most honest person I have ever known - she told you like it was and simply did not spear feelings - being on the receiving end of that more than once I just never felt offended because I knew she was teaching me a lesson I more than likely needed to learn. Steveanna put the world on her shoulder especially the Share Food Program in Philadelphia World - often spending more hours on duties that should have been delegated to others like any normal "control freak" - if you want it done right do it yourself! Chris, Price, Graham & Mimi I will miss Steveanna so much, I will always cherish her - I feel like I know each of you from her stories - yes they were "variety" in nature, but always with her LOVE for each of you. As you know, Steveanna lived the life she wanted to live. May your special memories get you thru this time. Warmest, Sheila Christopher
