Mr. Ben Hardin "Bennie" Mathews, age 74, of Spring Hill, TN passed away June 5, 2016. He was a member of the Little Antioch Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents, Malcolm B. and Lucille Peach Mathews; son, Jeffrey Mathews; and brother, Milton Mathews. Survived by sons, Casper and Benji Mathews; daughter, Alice (Randy) Schmidt; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Mathews; brother, Maurice Mathews; sister, Doris Murphy; special friend, Billie Gene Bentley; and grandchildren, Jenni Atkins, Gage Mathews, Cody Schmidt, Levi Mathews, Cassie Mathews and Tayler Schmidt. Funeral Service will be conducted 1:00PM Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Wilson Jenkins officiating. Interment Santa Fe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Santa Fe Cemetery or Theta Community Center.
