Donald Lee Reeves, Jr. age 62 of Spring Hill, TN passed away on January 5, 2019. Those who even merely crossed paths with Don couldn't help but see the light that radiated from him. If anyone lived their life like it was their last day, it was him. He never went a day without expressing his love, and his love was complete and all encompassing. His genuine compassion for everyone, from every walk of life, touched the lives of many. He was empowering, a motivator, and a pillar to those down on their luck. He would wrap those loving arms around a complete stranger and make them a friend. He changed lives on a daily basis with his passion and love for everything he did. He loved his work in both Firearms training and Fireflies Boutique. Two totally different businesses but an equal, genuine love for people. He was never without a smile and a twinkle in his eye. His love for his Children, Jennifer, Christopher, Christina, Kylen, Maquita, Jagger, and his granddaughter Cohen was deep and complete. He was a keep your secrets, shoulder, healer, warrior, friend, leader, protector, example, type of Dad. There wasn't a broken heart he couldn't heal, a stained shirt he couldn't clean, and a broken toilet he couldn't fix. And he would drop everything to be there the second he was needed. As a husband, wow, there was never more love. He was so proud to be a partner, but he always put her first. Anyone could see the deep selfless love he had for Harmony. A love story you only read in fairy tales. He expressed his deep love for her to everyone. There was not a single day that went by that she wasn't told how much he loved her. Hand in hand everyday, a partnership that was truly beautiful. Donald was his Mother's son. He gave all credit for who he is to his mother, Paula Reeves. He couldn't wait to call her several times a week and report this excitement for life. He had a deep spiritual relationship with our Savior. He witnessed to everyone that he lives. His motto was "I spent the first half of my life chasing the almighty dollar, and it was an empty life. I am spending the last half of my life chasing the almighty, and the dollars will come where they are needed to serve others." I think Don's heart gave out so much love that it just couldn't give anymore. Although his death was sudden and unexpected, he changed the course of life for 1000's of people. He gave every last beat of his strong heart to those he loved. Don is preceded in death by his father, Donald Reeves Sr. He leaves behind his loving wife, Harmony Reeves; mother, Paula Mumma Reeves; children, Jennifer (Jacob) Barker, Chris (Meredith) Reeves, Christina (Caleb) Reeves, Kylen, Maquita, Jagger Blake; grandchildren, Cohen Bayless, Leah, Alexis and Wesley Barker; sisters, Laura (Jim) Agee and Kim Reeves; nephew, Ryan Cunningham. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Jesse Ingram will officiate.
