Eleanor Kimery

Mrs. Eleanor Louise Jones Kimery, age 84 of Spring Hill, TN passed away November 2, 2015. Born in Walnut, MS to the late Max & Jessie Burgess Jones. She loved to watch baseball and was an avid Braves fan. She also enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music. She was a long time resident of Memphis, TN where she raised her family. She was always a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Otis Gray Kimery, Jr.; daughter, Kathryn Marshall; siblings, Albert and Joe Jones, Maxine Wells and Nancy Ann Wilbanks. Survived by her daughter, Ellen (Michael) Steinfath of Spring Hill, TN and son, Phillip (Lana) Kimery of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Brandon Marshall, Jennifer (Sam) Velasco, Lindsay (Matt) Crampton, Natalie (Charles) Newsom, Jeffrey (Hayley) Kimery and Rachel (Andrew) Aldrich; great grandchildren, Julian and Kathryn Rose Velasco; sister, Lucy Kephart; sister in-law, Betty Jones; son in-law, Woody Marshall. Graveside services will be held 1:30PM Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Visitation will begin at 12:00Noon on Thursday at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
