Gladys Lake

Gladys Mary Lamb Lake, 90 of Columbia, TN went Home to Jesus on December 16, 2018. She was a bright light in this world and to know her was to love her. Gladys was born in Northfield, NJ. She and husband Les retired from Acme Vial and traveled for 10 years before settling in Columbia, TN. Gladys was a member of the Lake Family Historical Association and Servants Heart Worship Center in Columbia. Her memoirs can be read at www.gladyslake.com. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie T. Lake and parents, Frank T. Lamb and Bertha Susan Banning Lamb. She leaves behind her sons, Thomas W. Lake (Ronnie), Douglas M. Lake (Rhonda Williams) both of TX; daughters, Leslie E. Orman (Tom) of AZ, Mary E. Mefferd (Paul) and Wendy S. Huffman (Bill Spalthoff) both of TN; brother, Herman Lamb (Marcella) of NC; sister, Heather Holland of AZ; she was blessed by over 100 descendants whom she loved dearly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Servants Heart Worship Center, 2325 Nashville Hwy, Columbia, TN, Pastor Rob Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM at the church. Burial following at Spring Hill Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
