Helen Elsa Anna Krueger Hintz, age 104, of Spring Hill, TN peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior on January 15, 2018 in Spring Hill, TN. Helen was born March 21, 1913 to the late Henry and Hulda Krueger of Wausau, WI. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.
Helen lived in Wausau, WI until 2000 when she moved to Tennessee. While in Wausau she worked at American Can Company later known as James River Corporation for 22 years. After her retirement, she volunteered her services working for Bethesda Thrift Shop in Wausau.
She was a member of the Wausau Bible Church, but attended Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church while living in Tennessee. Helen loved her Lord, her family, extended family and friends. She was a talented quilter, gardener, and cookie baker while her health permitted such activities.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Lois Wiederhoeft and Eileen Meseke; five grandsons, Craig (Nancy) Olson, Kevin Olson, and Randall Olson, Curt Wiederhoeft and Douglas (Wendy) Wiederhoeft; great grandchildren, Jacob, Grant and Patrick Olson, Emma, Jackson, Connor and Cameron Wiederhoeft, Rachel (Jonathan) Stone and Jon Morris; great great grandson, Grant Olson, Jr.; son-in-law, George Olson as well as other nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorraine Olson; siblings, Esther, Elmer, Henry and Elvira Krueger and Eldora Stefaniak.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00AM at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2494 Nashville Hwy, Columbia, TN with Rev. Chuck Westra officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, Wausau, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, LWMS or the Wausau Bible Church Missionary Fund.
