Jim Martin

Jim Martin, age 81 of Spring Hill, TN and formerly of Columbia, TN went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2020. Born on October 21, 1938 to the late Clyde Martin and Louise Barbee Martin. Jim was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbia. He spent most of his career in the forklift industry and retired after 35 years of service. Jim enjoyed wood-working and making doll houses. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Martin; siblings, Bill, Charlie and Don Martin. He leaves behind his loving wife, Judy Martin; children, Anna (Tom) Brown and John Martin; grandchildren, Drew (Brittany) Brown and Megan Brown; brothers, Harold (Betty) Martin and Ed (Kathy) Martin. A private family graveside service will be held at Spring Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Columbia, 222 W. 7th Street, Columbia, TN 38401.
