John Buchanan

November 1, 1944 — June 30, 2015

Mr. John Wayne Buchanan, age 70, of Spring Hill, TN passed away June 30, 2015.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, then graduated from Middle TN State University. John was employed with First American Bank for 23 years, and then went on to work for Farm Bureau for 11 years as a systems analyst. Member of Riverview Baptist Church in Columbia, TN. John always loved to be outdoors and to travel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Dale and Dorien Tate Buchanan; brother, Robert Dale Buchanan. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cindy Buchanan; children, Amy and Brent (Becky); brother, Jimmy Lynn (Diane) Buchanan; sister, Carolyn Denton; sister in-law, Diane Buchanan and granddaughter, Leah.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home, David Buffaloe and John Rushing officiating. Interment, Spring Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Warren, Marvin Bailey, Tandy Rainey, Dale Kinnard, Ken Williams, Jerry Bridenbaugh and Billy Benefield. Visitation will be held 4-8:00PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home 5239 Main St. Spring Hill, TN. 37174 931-486-0059 www.springhillmemorial.com
