John Derryberry

John Cromer Derryberry, age 93, passed away on April 19, 2016, after a short illness. Mr. Derryberry was preceded in death by his parents Cromer and Lillian Crowe Derryberry and sisters, Regina Derryberry, Mabel Warren and Rachel Gillis and son-in-law Larry Davis. Mr. Derryberry was a 30+ year employee of Kusan Mfg in Franklin. Along with his wife Martha, he helped organize and run the gospel singings for 30 years at his home church, Glenn's Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 ½ years, Martha (Warren), daughter Judy Davis of Spring Hill; son John W. (Lane) Derryberry of Madison AL and grandson Jonathan Henderson and fiancée Audra Smith of Huntsville, AL; brother Edwin of Columbia, and sister, Margaret Reed of Spring Hill. Also survived by special caregivers Ron, Rhonda and Amanda Pace. Special thanks to Grace Healthcare nurses and techs. Services will be at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 4 pm with Jim Taylor and Mark Hall officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 pm Thursday and from 1-4 pm on Friday at Spring Hill Memorial. Burial to follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Henderson, Kenny Sweeney, Darrell Warren, Richard Warren, Randy Warren, Mark Derryberry and Ron Pace. Memorials may be made to Glenn's Chapel or Crowe Cemetery.
