Julie K. Hettinger Rasmussen, age 54 of Spring Hill, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 27, 2017. Julie was born in 1963 to Raymond and Leona Hettinger in Greeley, Colorado. She attended Windsor, Colorado schools and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. She was a member of Thompson Station Church. She recently worked as a childcare/educator for Williamson County Schools. Julie was passionate about her children and loved her family dearly. She adored her three pets, Jackson, Abby and Alba. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by father, Raymond Hettinger; father & mother-in-law, Lowell and Katherine Rasmussen. She leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, Rick Rasmussen; mother, Leona Wolfe Hettinger; daughters, Allison and Lauren Rasmussen; step-children, Corinne (Frank) Bugg, Dustina and Max Rasmussen; brother, Steve (Lou Anne) Hettinger; grandchildren, Lilly Rasmussen, Ruby and Cora Bugg; and nephew, Breven Hettinger. Services will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Thompson Station Church. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Monday at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be held at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor, CO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
