Mary Ward

Mary Ann Ward, age 86 of Spring Hill, TN passed away February 11, 2018. Born in Maury County, TN to the late Edgar William Hayes and Margaret Ann Walker Hayes. Throughout her life Mary Ann worked at Stan's Restaurant, The Cedar Inn and Pelican/Nukote Ribbon Co. She was a member of the Thompson Station Church of Christ. Former Alderman and Vice-Mayor of Spring Hill. Mary Ann was a caring, loving, hardworking and Christian woman who always put others first. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by sisters, Ellen Jones, Sandra Peach, Charlene Vermillion and Christine Ingram; brothers, Jimmy, Lucius and Jesse Hayes. She leaves behind her daughters, Vivian (Rufus) Reese of Gallatin, TN and Vickie (Randall) Pedrick of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Brandi Ann (Matthew) Armstrong, Brent (Lindsey) Pedrick, Richard Reese and Rilla Reese Hanks; 5 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, John Ingram; many other loving family members. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to service Thursday. Burial in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Reese, Brent Pedrick, Matthew Armstrong, Austin Collier, Todd Marlin, Charlie Reed, Ben Shapiro and Bobby Ward. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doris Dark, Johnny & Anita Yancey, Jean Maupin, Thelma Hughes, Betty Boyd, Denise Alexander, Larry Peach, David Fields, JD Jones, Wayne Robertson and the Adult Sunday School Class at Thompson Station Church of Christ.
