Mr. Larry Jones

Mr. Larry Gene Jones, Sr., age 72 returned to his heavenly home on November 25th, 2015. Born in Old Hickory, TN and son of the late Bridges C. Jones and Lorene O'Saile Jones. Also preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Priest. He was an avid fisherman, cook and gardener. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed but we celebrate that he is at peace with his Creator. Survived by: wife of 52 years, Sandra C. Jones; son, Larry G. Jones Jr.; daughter, Christy J. (Eric) Albrecht; grandchildren, Kelly (Danny) Jerik, Sydney, Ella and Ethan Albrecht and great granddaughter, Emma Jerik; sisters, Ethel Pike, Shirley (Mike) Hayes and Debbie (John) Langston; brothers, Roy (Joan) Jones, Sr., Roger Jones and Mark Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon Porter officiating. Entombment will be in Evergreen Mausoleum in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation will be 3-7PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at SPRING HILL MEMORIAL PARK, FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 931 486-0059.
