Mr. Randolph Dozier

Mr. Randolph Searing "Randy" Dozier, age 67, of Thompson's Station, TN, and former longtime resident of Nashville passed away Thursday June 13, 2013, at Life Care Center of Columbia. Owner and president of Dozier Equipment Company in Nashville, TN for many years. Former member of Richland and Hillwood Country Clubs, and the board of Out Look Nashville, and member of Spring Meadows Church of Christ. Randy had many hobbies and interest. He was an avid antique car collector. His main interest was 1930-1950's Buicks. He won the National Buick Show first place with his 1937 Roadster. Some other interests were the Civil War and antique guns. Randy enjoyed traveling to Wyoming every summer for more than 20 years. After the sale of his company he and his wife Julia enjoyed their winter home at Burnt Store Marina on Charlotte Harbor in Punta Gorda, Fl. He loved his boats. While there he did a lot of deep sea fishing, boating with friends to the many barrier islands, going to Cabbage Key for a "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and a slice of key lime pie, and also, hosting Spring Breaks for his family. "His was a life well lived, and blessed by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ".
Preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Marshall Dozier, Sr. and Anne Searing Dozier and his brother, Marshall Dozier, Jr. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Julia Dillingham Dozier of Thompson's Station, TN; sons, Chris (Barrett) Dozier of Franklin, TN, Adrian Paul Dozier of Thompson's Station, TN and Brandon (Julie) Dozier of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Dillan, Noah & Mary Ellis. Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2013 at Spring Meadows Church of Christ, 2985 Duplex Rd., Spring Hill, TN, with Dale Jenkins and Tom Dillingham officiating. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 PM Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211.
