Nadim Shafik Al-Hajal, age 92 of Spring Hill, passed away on February 14, 2024. He was born in Syria on January 1, 1932, to the late Wadiah Watfa and Shafik Al Hajal.
Nadim was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. He dedicated his life to his profession as a contractor who painted houses. He was a husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother Adeeb Al-Hajal and sister Nadima Al-Hajal.
Nadim's memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Mona Ober; brother Saeed Al-Hajal; Sisters, Swad, Nour, Amal, and Josephine Al-Hajal; sons, Fady Al-Hagal and his wife Lindy, Maher Al-Hagal and his wife Dima, Basem Al-Hagal, and Mutaz Al-Hagal; daughter, Salwa Gilchrist and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Samuel, Christian, Muna Grace, Laila Sue, James Gage, Jad-Ray, Rogeh; and one great-grandchild, Kaiyah.
A Funeral Service will be held at on February 17, 2024, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church located at 4905 Franklin Pike in Nashville, TN. The service is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM with Father Jarrod Russell officiating. Following the funeral, Nadim will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Memorial Park in Spring Hill, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
