Norma Black

Mrs. Norma Jean Gallup Black, age 84 of Spring Hill, TN passed away peacefully February 25, 2015 at her home. She was born and raised in the Jackson, MI area where she attended Parma HS. She was a loving and devoted mother who raised six children and cared for many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by husband, Laverne Black; son, Jerry Sears; siblings, Lois Hill, Ernestine Norman, Frank Gallup Jr.; previous spouses, Don Southwell and Glen Sears. Survived by children, James (Karen) Lannin, Donna (James Wades) Southwell, Charlene (Denny) Dawson, Gina Knochel, Glena Sears, Karen Dernbach; sisters, Louise (Russ) Rossetter and Beverley Sheldon; grandchildren, Candice Glinstra, Heather Harcum, Jay Lannin, Michelle Ruelle, Bradley & Brian Bennett, Jason, Johnathan & Joseph Dawson; Amy Bichey, Jeremiah Knochel and Rebekah Dernbach; and great grandchildren, Savanah & Charlize Glinstra, Christina Heatherly, Cyriana Harcum, Anna Claire Lannin, Riley & Jensen Ruelle, J. Slade & H. Gunner Bennett, Bryce, Bryanna, Brylee, Gavin & Blaize Dawson, Andrew, Dawson, Mary Ella & Nicholas Bichey, Sarah Knochel, Jacob Bracken and Reece Robertson. Services will be conducted 9:00am Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Ward Jones officiating. Burial Spring Hill Memorial Park.
