Sherrie Kay Hozeska

Sherrie Kay Hozeska, age 80, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2025, in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Born on October 23, 1944, in Bay City, Michigan, Sherrie was the daughter of the late Francis R. Pelletier and Lola Dale Maxson. With a heart full of kindness and a steady dedication to her work, Sherrie built a fulfilling career as an Administrative Assistant at Davenport University, where she served faithfully until her retirement.

Sherrie was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill, where her faith and gentle spirit were a source of comfort and strength to those around her.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Debbie (Jim) Voltz and Leslie Wright; her son-in-law, Roger Degnan; and her grandchildren: Randy Wright, Kaylee Nicasio, and Noah Degnan. Sherrie’s warmth and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Sherrie is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kelly Degnan; her brothers, Gary and Ronald Pelletier; and her devoted husband, Charles L. Hozeska.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Adams officiating. The family invites all who knew and loved Sherrie to join them in honoring her memory, with fellowship and reception to follow the service.
