Sylvia A. Gross Hicks age 76 of Spring Hill, TN formerly of Bronx, NY passed away December 21, 2018. She received her Master's Degree (MPH) from Long Island University and was a Registered Nurse (RN). She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Elease Gross. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Bill Hicks; daughter, Salease (Tony) Jean-Leger; brothers, Rodney (Barbara) Gross and Artie (Lo'retta) Gross; grandchildren, Bryana Hicks-Johnson, Cierah Hicks-Johnson, Darius Hicks-Johnson, Grayson JeanLeger, Coco JeanLeger, Arabella JeanLeger; and many loving nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 6:30PM Thursday, December 27, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. Rodney Gross will officiate. Graveside Service will be held 9:00AM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
