Waunitta Bunnell

WAUNITTA M BUNNELL, 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at home in Spring Hill, TN. Born in Versailles, IN., she graduated from Moody Bible Institute, completed her Education Degree at Grace College and earned her Masters at St Francis University in Ft Wayne. She worked 25 years as an Elementary School Teacher at Akron school as part of the Tippecanoe Valley School System. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw, IN and later the Thompson Station Methodist Church in Thompson Station TN. The greatest loves of her life were her faith, her family and her first graders. She was always focused on finding the very best in every one of life's moments and God's creations. Surviving are her son, Charles (Barbara) Bunnell of Spring Hill, TN; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Bunnell; grandson, Alex Bunnell both of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Amy (Matt) Lutz of Westfield, Ind.; Matthew (Sheila) Kessler of Eugene, Ore.; Emily (Michael) Diettrich of Monclova, Ohio; and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen (Emaline) Raney, Estol "Chub" (Barbara) Raney, Loren "Pete" (Sue) Raney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Bunnell; step-daughter, Janet Kessler; sister, Mary "Carmen" Jordan; brothers, Robert Raney and Nelson Raney.
